Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14-day trial doesn't ask for one, and neither does Free. You only enter payment details if you decide to upgrade.
What happens when my 14-day trial ends?
You move to Free automatically. Nothing is deleted and nothing stops working — your projects and history stay exactly as they are. You just go back to one feature at a time.
What counts as a "feature"?
One piece of work your team takes from start to finish — something you'd describe in a sentence, like "add password reset". Your plan sets how many can be in progress at the same time. Small documentation and copy changes don't count toward it.
What is auto-approve?
Normally you give the final go-ahead before anything ships. With auto-approve, work that passes all its checks ships on its own — so your team keeps moving while you're asleep or in meetings. You can still review everything afterwards.
What are scheduled runs?
You choose when your team works — overnight, at weekends, or a set time each day. It starts on its own and picks up where it left off.
What is Turbo mode?
Normally you tell your team what to work on next. In Turbo mode it decides for itself, looking at what's outstanding and starting the next most useful thing. It's the difference between a team that waits for instructions and one that gets on with it.
What is the mobile app?
Check on your team from your phone: what shipped, what's in progress, what needs you. It's in development now.
Why do I need my own Claude subscription?
Operum orchestrates your team of agents, but the actual work is done by Claude Code running on your own machine, under your own Claude account — so your code and conversations go directly between you and Anthropic. Your Operum plan pays for the orchestration; the AI usage sits on the Claude subscription you already have.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All subscriptions are month-to-month. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Absolutely. Upgrade anytime and the difference is prorated. Downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle.
