Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Operum subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and our approach to refunds. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By subscribing to a paid Operum plan, you agree to the terms described here.

2. Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with no payment information required. You will not be charged during the trial, and you may stop using the Service at any time before it ends without incurring any fee. After the trial expires, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.

3. Auto-Renewal Disclosure

Your subscription renews automatically. This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's rules on negative-option marketing and applicable state automatic-renewal laws.

  • Operum subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew at the end of each monthly billing period until you cancel.
  • The renewal charge equals the then-current price of your plan. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
  • Your payment method on file is charged automatically on each renewal date. You authorize this recurring charge when you subscribe.
  • You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals — see Section 4. Cancellation is designed to be as easy as signing up.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, open the billing settings in your Operum account and select Cancel subscription, or email support@operum.ai and we will process the cancellation on your behalf.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. You will not be charged again after you cancel. Once the current period ends, your account reverts to a non-paying state as described in the Terms of Service (Subscription and Billing).

5. Refunds

Operum offers monthly subscriptions that you can cancel at any time to prevent the next charge. Because of this:

  • No refund is provided for the current billing period. When you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not provide refunds or pro-rated credits for the remaining days of that period.
  • Cancelling stops all future renewal charges, so you are only ever billed for periods you have chosen to continue.

We do not issue refunds except in cases of billing error reported within 7 days of the charge. To report a billing error, email support@operum.ai from the email address associated with your account.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a billing-error refund, email support@operum.ai from your account email. Any approved refund is issued to your original payment method.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
